Artist’s Statement
Since my first sabbatical year at the University of NH, I have been traveling to Italy for study and inspiration. Seeing history unfold at the museums and architectural sites was a powerful experience that impacted my representational work significantly. For over 20 years, the language, the landscape, the food and the people have been a touchstone in my artistic growth.
